Therapy with Daja

The Approach.

"I would describe my approach to therapy as relational. I often use the analogy of my clients being the driver while I serve as the front seat passenger; helping to provide guidance, perspective, and support as they navigate at their own pace.

My work is rooted in womanist principles, which honor identity, resilience, lived experience, and cultural context, while also drawing from existential approaches that invite exploration of meaning, choice, authenticity and the ways we come to understand ourselves throughout life. I prioritize cultivating an authentic therapeutic relationship where clients feel emotionally safe, seen, and supported enough engage vulnerably and honestly in the therapeutic space.

In our work together, I provide emotional support, clinically Informed insight, and psychoeducation to help clients better understand their patterns emotional responses, relationships, and the deeper experiences that mat have shaped the sense of self and way of moving through the world. Together we explore opportunities for healing, reclaim agency, strengthen self understanding, and move toward a life that feels more intentional, authentic, and aligned. choices, reclaim agency, and move toward a life that is intentional, authentic, and whole.

It is my honor to assist you in redefining strength without romanticizing suffering." - 𝓓𝓪𝓳𝓪 𝓡.
