Daja Robinson, MS, LPC

Daja Robinson is a Licensed Professional Counselor, entrepreneur, and scholar committed to advancing trauma-informed care and empowering marginalized communities. She services individuals and families throughout the state of Georgia and brings over a decade of experience in clinical counseling and program development. She specializes in treating complex trauma, anxiety, and depression using evidence-based modalities.

Mrs. Robinson is the founder and lead psychotherapist at Redefined Mind Center for Change, LLC, where she provides culturally responsive, evidenced-based therapy services in complex trauma, anxiety, and depression. Her clinical expertise is complemented by leadership roles, including her tenure as a Clinical Program Supervisor, where she guided therapists in delivering Multisystemic Therapy (MST) interventions for youth and families involved in the juvenile court system. Additionally, her clinical experience working at Grady Behavioral Health - Psychosocial Rehabilitation Center (PSR) in Atlanta, GA, aided in refining her clinical skills in treating individuals with severe psychological disorders and solidified her commitment to trauma-informed, culturally responsive care.

Mrs. Robinson is currently a Doctoral Candidate in Clinical Psychology (PsyD), conducting research focused on the intersectionality of the Superwoman Schema, identity development, and trauma among Black women, and completing her pre-doctoral clinical internship rotation. She currently rotates across forensic, trauma-focused, and community mental health settings, with additional specialization in supporting survivors of sexual assault and individuals impacted by complex trauma.

Mrs. Robinson is passionate about integrating academic excellence with community engagement, as she is the founding president of the Association of Black Psychologists, Inc. student chapter at Brenau University, where she spearheaded initiatives that support Black mental health professionals and elevate Black psychology.  She is the proud recipient of the 2025 Student Service Award presented by the Association of Black Psychologists, Inc.

Her impact extends globally, reflecting her dedication to culturally responsive mental health care through service work in Rwanda, Africa, where she led an educator support group and helped strengthen community wellness efforts in 2024.

Through her clinical practice, leadership, and advocacy, Mrs. Robinson continues to shape the future of mental health care, striving to make healing accessible, transformative, and culturally affirming.
